I am a mathematician and educator. I like studying shapes, symmetries, topology, and combinatorics. I received a PhD in mathematics in June 2019 from Oregon State University and my advisor was Ren Guo. I was a lecturer at the University of Washington in Seattle for the Winter 2020 and Spring 2020 quarters. Starting Fall 2020, I am the Math/Physics Instructor in the STARS In Engineering program at the University of Washington.

My research interests include:

- Compact Riemann Surfaces and Quasiplatonic Surfaces
- Dessins d’Enfants
- Topological Group Actions
- Crossing Number of Complete Graphs
- Automorphism Groups of Riemann Surfaces
- Triply Periodic Polyhedral Surfaces
- Mathematics Education
